Fiesta
The Fiesta company was born in the 40s in the heart of Puerto Rico by Mr. Mayoral, who from the first moment was interested in sugar cane crops and began extracting it to create the first Fiesta candy.
They established their first factory in Venezuela, and later, in 1965, they arrived in the city where they developed their full potential: Alcalá de Henares, in Madrid.
In the 60s, they managed to popularize the consumption of flat candies with sticks and gave their name to their PIRULETA thanks to a play on words between lollipop, a typical Cuban sweet, and palette, as these candies were called at the time.
The launch of the KOJAK gum-filled lollipop, inspired by a popular series of the time, caused a sensation in Spain in the 1970s.
They were the first to put gum in candy thanks to an innovative process that remains one of the company's best kept secrets even today.
In the mid-80s, continuing with the innovative capacity that characterizes them, they decided to put in the same envelope, pica-pica powders and a lollipop in the shape of a Fresquito finger, the iconic child who has accompanied so many sweet moments of small and older.
Fiesta also managed, through an event, to enter the Guinness Book of Records with the highest concentration of people sucking on lollipops. Almost 13,000 people enjoyed our KOJAK at the same time on September 7, 2008 in Valladolid.
