The sugar-free Pictolin candies are made with Isomalt, a base ingredient for sugar-free candies, it is a polyol with half the calories (2.0 cal / g). In addition, its glycemic index is 7 times lower than sucrose, which makes unsweetened candies suitable for diabetics.
